Nursery Workshop

A four-day workshop is being given to a large group of local artists. I was thrilled to be here taught three years ago and invited back to paint this part of the world. Pacific Northwest is breathtakingly beautiful, and the Skagit Valley is full of delight for the eyes of a painter. With the backdrop of the mountains yellow fields, historic towns, spread of ports, from San Juan Island, giant trees and on and on. Can you tell me I love it here?During the four days we will be working on many things, but I wanted to start a fun day so we decided to set up in the nursery of Chetram nagar in Mount Vernon. Gulab flower is in its prime minister and there is something for sketch in every corner of the property. My demo was a little school prepared by climbing rose and hydrangeas. Tomorrow we will try to deliver hard stuff like values, structure and perspective!

These pictures were taken at Aichien Bonsai Nursery. It's a big nursery with tons of great material in a wide range of developmental stages.
